So the New York Post reported that transgendered ABC news editor Don Ennis (formerly Dawn Ennis) is in the process of de-transitioning and once again is living his life as the straight man he always was. If you ask us, he looked better as a woman but that’s besides the point.

Ennis began living as a woman full-time in May, legally changing his name to Dawn Stacey Ennis and leaving his wife and three young children in order to be true to himself and his identity as a woman. The New York Post reports that after a recent 2-day bout of amnesia, he “woke up” and realized he was a man. During his amnesia ordeal, he claims ” ‘I accused my wife of playing some kind of cruel joke, dressing me up in a wig and bra and making fake ID’s with the name ‘Dawn’ on it…It became obvious this was not the case once I took off the bra — and discovered two reasons I was wearing one,’ he said, referring to his hormone-induced breasts.” He goes on to say ” ‘I thought it was 1999 . . . and I was sure as hell that I was a man…Fortunately, my memories of the last 14 years have since returned. But what did not return was my identity as Dawn…’” Although Don took hormones and was legally considered a woman, he never had sexual re-assignment surgery and now will have no problem returning to living his life as a straight man, father and husband.
